This is a abbreviated time-line for the creation of a short series of works based on the Iconography and narrative of Saint Sebastian – the Martyr of Rome. Although most accounts of his death have it at the hands of Diocletian club welding thugs, the romantic version has him dying as a result of a thousand arrows. A thousand arrows begot a thousand drawings. Here is a potion of the process.
