I have been active as an Illustrator for my entire professional career. Illustration is a rewarding and challenging pursue, to create in a collaborative environment, sometimes tackling subject matter that is alien to our normal interests as artists. In addition, these works, unlike most fine art, must be designed to communicate quickly and specifically.
Working inside the confines of the project specifications forces the artist to harness all of their problem solving abilities, both in creating a visual solution that solves the client’s needs and creating a piece of artwork that can stand shoulder to shoulder with the work that the artist creates without any external limitations.
